Forum on Converting to a Hydrogen Economy
Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
22-24 September, 2000
Because the technology now exists for the world to convert to
a hydrogen economy, and completely stop using polluting forms
of energy, it is time to initiate the hydrogen economy. This can
be done in a very short period of time if the energy community
and all the people in the world put their collective efforts into
it and demand that it be done.
The purpose of the Forum on Converting to a Hydrogen Economy was
to bring together the collective efforts of the energy community
and all the people of the world to demand that we convert now.
The Forum examined the processes needed to make this historical
conversion and assess where we are now, in light of where we want
to go. Topics discussed included the establishment of a hydrogen
infrastructure, hydrogen technology, and social and economic impacts.
